ABOUT

Olivia Ellie Rowell

My name is Olivia and I am currently a full-time student with a dream of getting a job in the fashion industry. I have a strong interest in the industry, a magazine collection and fashion scrapbooks going back to 2013 are just one thing that demonstrates this. Originally fashion design is what I was aiming for but as I got older I discovered there was more than just designing. I am keen to pursue a job in social media, PR or working with influencers. These are the sides of fashion that I feel my skills would be best suited for, however, I am a keen learner and always willing to give everything a go. Fantastic opportunities can lead to fantastic things, it would be an amazing opportunity for your brand or company to have me on your team. I see myself as hardworking, reliable, fun and friendly. I would be more than keen to have an opportunity to further develop my skills with you!

I have always been a creative person who has always been involved in anything creative and arty. It is something that I have always had an interest in and have never wanted to do anything other than a job in the fashion industry which I have always had an eye for. This is a career that I feel I was born to do. Recent University modules include fashion journalism, fashion film and photography, branding, fashion space and PR. I have worked alongside the editorial manager at END on a live brief where we were required to do an  in-depth brand study and work to create a piece of PR and an in-store installation for a product. I have a strong skill set that includes textiles, sewing and photography, Adobe Photoshop + InDesign, blogging, organisational skills, time management, self-motivation and determination.

I recently graduated with degree in Fashion Communication (2:1) at Northumbria University. I am now developing myself and my skills even further by studying a master's degree in Digital Marketing back at Northumbria University.
I hope to learn all of the skills and gain the knowledge required for successful social media and digital marketing. As a current fashion student who has always had a strong interest and desire to work in the industry, I want to apply fashion to my master's degree. One of my goals is to work for a fashion or lifestyle brand in marketing once I have finished my time at University.

For now, have a browse through my website. You will find my blog, which sees me talking about topics of interest as well as sharing my thoughts and experiences. You can view a sample of my work from the past few years which can be found in the portfolio section.
